Installing & Using Sangoma Phone Application

Details: This application allows you to listen to voicemail, check missed calls, and optional make & receive phone calls via your computer.

*Please note if you are not within JMC Wi-FI or off-site you must be connected to the NetExtender VPN while using this software.

  1. Visit the following web site to download the installer for the Switchvox application.
    Note, this guide will cover the Windows Desktop application.

    2. Most users will download the “Desktop Windows” version of the application:

  2. Once the download is finished click the file to install “Switchvox Phone”.
  3. After the install you will have a shortcut on your desktop and start menu for “Switchvox Phone”

  4. Open the application and begin the login process.
    1. If you are presented with a firewall notice, click “Allow Access”.

    2. Host: Enter the host corresponding to your location below.
      1. Monticello Users: 192.168.168.9
      2. Yuma Users: 10.5.170.1
    3. Username / Extension: Enter your extension number.
    4. Password: Enter your phone password. (If you do not have this information reach out to IT for assistance.)
    5. Click Login

  5. If you are presented with an error about an Invalid SSL certificate, click “OK” to proceed.

  6. You can now use this application to check for missed calls, voicemails, and even place calls via your computer.
