Setting up MFA for SonicWall VPN (Remote Access)

Please follow the steps below to setup your account for MFA (Multi Factor Authentication).
Requirements for Setup
- Computer with Internet access.
- Smartphone
- Your VPN Username & Password
Instructions
- Open your browser and open the following web site depending on your current location.
- Outside Jordan Offices: https://vpn.jordanmanufacturing.com:4433/
- Within Jordan Offices: https://192.168.168.2:4433
- Outside Jordan Offices: https://vpn.jordanmanufacturing.com:4433/
- If you are presented with a warning it is safe to proceed.
- Click “Advanced”
- Click “Proceed to ##.##.##.## (unsafe)"
- Click “Advanced”
- Once on the SonicWall Virtual Office login using your VPN credentials. These are separate credentials from your computer login that were e-mailed to you when remote access was enabled for your user. If you do not have these credentials, please reach out to IT to obtain them.
- Upon logging in you should be presented with a window to enable your “2FA Code”.
- Make note of your emergency scratch code. This is used in case you ever need to login without your mobile device.
- On your smartphone you will need Google Authenticator installed. (Note: A Google account is not required to use Google Authenticator.) Open the app store on your phone and search for “Google Authenticator” or use the links below.
- Once you have finished the setup of Google Authenticator on your phone open the app and click the + in the bottom right and choose “Scan a QR code”.
- Scan the QR code that is being displayed on your SonicWall Virtual Office with your phone.
- Now see a new entry on the Authenticator app. This rolling code will be required each time you sign in for Remote Access using either the Virtual Office or the NetExtender application.
