How to Run a Lunch & Learn

  • Plan a time & day for your lunch & learn. Typically, Tuesday – Thursday is best in the 12p-1p range. Plan for 20-30 minutes at most.

  • Send a meeting invite to jmc-office@jordanmanufacturing.com. Be sure to include a Teams link in your invitation.
  • When the meeting day arrives, start your meeting 5-10 minutes early to make sure your technology is working. Turn on your camera and mic. Then test sharing your PowerPoint screen.

  • Under the more menu, choose start recording.

  • When you are done with your presentation, choose the more menu > stop recording.

  • End your meeting

  • Open the chat. Download the attendance report.

  • A link to your meeting recording will appear in the chat after the meeting was scheduled to end.

  • Attach the attendance report and the recording link to a new helpdesk ticket. Be sure to provide the title of your Lunch & Learn, and ask that it be included in the LMS (Learning Management System)
